The transparent table: Ibrahim Traoré and the final stand against neo-colonialism

Everyone lately been watching what’s happening in Burkina Faso lately. I don’t want to address the issue from a ” news” perspective neither a political point of view . After the 18th assassination/cop attempt done against president Ibrahim traore within a period of two and a half years this issue stopped being a political issue but a clear event that requires honesty and a basic level of human comprehension to understand what’s happening. The 21th century under the table western colonialism of Africa reached a point now where the table became transparent and everyone can see through it . Leaving the colonizer confused whether to continue and act like people are blind or to land with fighter jets to spread democracy. And what is different in the case of Ibrahim traore and Burkina faso compared to his predecessors that wanted to make a true change. It’s not about praising him but praising what he symbolize and stands for .

Some time ago i saw a video of a politician of the colonizers without mentioning names . In a hall and a suit talking about the expulsion of their troops from one of the African countries. He said :

Annunci

” They ( colonizer’s troops) will have a full pilot escort there . And if the nigeri government or any other third world thug tries to even turn on their air defense we should show them what the target package looks like on their houses and their family members ”

Keeping in mind this is someone else’s country he is talking about. It’s like their military presence in niger is a God given right . That’s a moment that exposes the western view of Africa. For centuries the west viewed Africa as resources extraction center and it’s no secret . This view is deeply ingrained in the western leader’s mind and not something that can be changed by simple declaration of independence. In phycology it’s knows as the Status Quo Bias

– ” The tendency to prefer things to stay the same. If someone has always seen another as inferior, their brain resists re-evaluating that status, even when circumstances change.”

The Truth of the matter that we all know that Africa never stopped being a ” resources extraction center” after the end of colonialism. Just a shift in how the extractions are made . From honest and open exploitation to under a transparent glass table exploitation seen by everyone .

Burkina Faso’s Ibrahim traore since taking power in September 2022 he challenged the western narrative and was very open and transparent about it which is extremely worrying for the colonizers. He is a glitch in there system. Expelling french troops, french Media, french airlines. The Frenchman felt like he is losing one of his resources rich backyard .

Continuesly being attacked by the colonizers Media for being a dictator and authoritarian ruler is captain Ibrahim traore . But did the colonizer ever care about Africa’s freedom of choice? Or it’s a silly cover up to their intentions

During the flag-raising ceremony at koulouba palace

In early April of this year president traore said pretty bold words and set a open challenge .

” we are not in a democracy. We are indeed in  a progressive popular revolution. Everyone needs to understand that .And it’s even more surprising that those who are supposed to be the intellectuals who went to school can imagine that a country can develop within democracy ”

Then proceeded by saying

” Until you can site a SINGLE county that developed under democracy… It’s not possible.

In the case of Burkina Faso where the colonizers are ready to fund coups and organize assassination attempts to get ride of the man that got ride of them and accomplished one of the biggest 2 years economic growth in history of Burkina Faso despite the countless challenges. To mention some only.

GDP Growth: Burkina Faso’s GDP grew by approximately 17.5% from $18.8 billion in 2022 to $22.1 billion in 2024.

Debt Clearance: The government successfully cleared local debts, reducing financial dependency.

Salary Reform: Ministerial and parliamentary salaries were cut by 30%, while civil servant salaries were increased by 50%.

Resource Sovereignty: Traoré banned the export of unrefined gold, ensuring domestic processing and national control over resources.

Airport Project: The new Ouagadougou-Donsin Airport, set for completion in 2025, is designed to handle 1 million passengers annually.

Hospital Construction: His administration invested in new hospitals and mobile clinics, making healthcare more accessible.

Free Education: Free education initiatives and new science high schools were launched across all 13 regions of the country.

Football Stadium: A new 40,000-seat football stadium is under construction in Ouagadougou to boost sports and national pride.

They are doing all the possible and the impossible to get rid of the president doing this . You think they will do nothing or let the progress flow under democracy??

This isn’t an attack on democracy itself but an attack towards the liars using it as a pretty mask

The Truth is the colonizer doesn’t care about the people’s freedom of choice or democracy .It is  used as a means to dominate the region easily. Other than assassination attempts and coups they can  just support the candidate that will benefit them the most and guarantee their control over the region.  rig elections, and defame candidates that go against their interests . In short nothing but a beautiful mask to the colonizer’s evil true face .

The Sahil countries and especially Burkina Faso are under constant external attacks that requires them to be united under a strong leadership and western pressure for so called democracy is nothing but a desperate attempt to weaken the structure from inside so they can exploit it from the outside.

All authors and books of wisdom understood this message and conveyed it clearly

” And if a house be divided against itself , that house cannot stand ” .

Mark 3:25

“do not dispute with one another, or you would be discouraged and weakened”

Quran 8:46

Now coming back to captain Ibrahim traore’s open challenge.

” Until you can site a SINGLE county that developed under democracy… It’s not possible ”

The African countries that have witnessed the biggest social, economic development and reduction in corruption in the last 20 years are Rwanda and Ethiopia .

Rwanda : Led by President Paul Kagame and the Rwandan Patriotic Front since 2000.

Ethiopia : Dominated by the Ethiopian People’s Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF) from 1991 to 2018.

And the countries that had the highest development rate worldwide

Singapore : Ruled by the People’s Action Party (PAP) since 1959. Under Lee Kuan Yew

Malaysia :Dominated by the United Malays National Organization (UMNO) in a de facto one-party system for over six decades

Vietnam: One-party communist state governed by the Communist Party of Vietnam since 1975. No political opposition is allowed

China :Ruled by the Communist Party of China since 1949.

Kazakhstan:  Authoritarian rule under Nursultan Nazarbayev (1991–2019) and successors Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia etc…

Are we going to call every single country that had a substantial development a failure because they don’t follow the western constitution of democracy?

And is Ibrahim traore a dictatorship devil if he wants his citizens to witness a similar growth and development like all the above mentioned countries?.

What’s different this time is that Ibrahim traore became a living icon and a symbol of resistance, sovereignty across the world.

Unending protest in all major Burkina Faso’s cities in support of the young leader saying ” hands of Ibrahim traore” . Not only in Burkina Faso but in new York , Vienna, France , Jamaica, south Africa and all over the black community everywhere.

Wouldn’t be a exaggeration to say that citizens from all African countries in addition to African Americans, afro-caribeans support Ibrahim traore in his vision for sovereignty, liberation and development of Africa.

With world leaders like  giorgia meloni prime minister of Italy that spoke against the french exploitation of Burkina Faso and Africa. And many other leaders.

What’s different this time is that a successful assassination attempt of captain Ibrahim traore won’t help the colonizer. It will turn him into a legend and a idol of african resistance that will put an end to the colonizer in the continent forever. Just a look into the dusty books of history will show everyone that leaders with this level of public support and a unambiguous enemy gained their biggest popularity and support after their murder and I don’t need to go through the examples. The Burkinabe people that flooded the streets in protest in support of captain traore are a symbol showing that if the colonizer enters ever again will face those same people in their highest form of aggression.

What’s different this time is that Ibrahim traore shifted his relationship towards Russia and the east . Not to say they are perfect allies but to affirm sovereignty and break the western strangle hold. Engagement without submission , cooperation without subjugation , Trade offs not selling out . A announcement of civilizational self respect.

Already inspiring other African countries, leaders and people . Making all African countries wish for a similar leader. If the colonizer leaves him alone they will cause the emergence of many traores in the continent and if they get rid of him they will infuriate the millions and burn their spot in the continent completely and STILL cause an emergence of many traores in the region .
